ONLI IN DA PHILIPPINES

There are different traits, practices, traditions and mannerisms that make us uniquely Filipinos. It’s funny when you talk about these in detail. You will notice that as you study these, it will make you realize that Filipinos are one of a kind!
But there are also wrong mindsets and thinking that we grew up with as Filipinos. These mindsets are ingrained in our culture but are completely against the Word of God. It doesn’t just sadden us but it affects negatively the people around us. These mindsets should no longer exist once a Filipino becomes a Christian.
Join as in our youth services every Friday 7pm and Saturday 3pm as we talk about what the Bible has to say about the different Pinoy traits and mindsets.

Hi there,
People’s mindsets in different cultures are different. Some Cultures do have mindsets that are ingrained in their cultures, they are not/are against the Word of God, but they quite follow it, and it does affect negatively with the people around us. They have read or heard on what the Bible teaches but don’t see it being followed thru. But then again, it can have an impact on people’s upbringing and this can cause stubbornness of what they were taught back in the days. It is important to understand the mindsets of those that were taught differently and what they seeor have been, because this will enable you to grasp what their mindset are set upon, once you understand them then you will get a better understanding. There are some Christians that don’t grasp this concept until they think differently.
